Reflection
Through the duration of this semester, the question has lingered; 'What is honors colloquy?' As we have moved through the weeks, the question has slowly answered itself. Honors colloquy is many things and most it is an experience. It is creating and thinking and implementing new knowledge. You truly do get out of colloquy what you put into it. This class for me has been a place to come to learn without pressure and I appreciated that throughout the semester. I have better learned to organize my thoughts into creative and critical categories and use these ideas to solve problems and learn more strategically.
Project Two has brought a creative twist to my way of thinking. It was refreshing to be able to explore something that I enjoyed. It allowed me to explore a creative piece and think about how it effects my life. I liked experiencing some personal exploration of my own experiences and how I can relate to the movie I chose to draw inspiration from.
If I had more time, I would continue to explore the collective culture of the fictional nation of Wakanda. I would like to explore where the creators for this movie took inspiration from for each unique aspect of the movie like costumes, setting, language and dialect.
